What are the differences in your services versus the emergency room?

We are a full service urgent care facility, with the same resources as an emergency room. The biggest difference is that we guarantee you will be seen in 15 minutes versus a 5-6 hour wait in a typical New York City ER.

Will you talk to my doctor and send my visit records?

Absolutely! We pride ourselves on the relationships we have with area physicians.

Do you provide pharmacy service?

For your convenience and to ensure the highest standards of quality and service, we have partnered with an area pharmacy to deliver your medications right to your home or office.

What do the facility charge and professional service fee mean?

We itemize our charges like this to be consistent with most area emergency rooms. There are three charges: 1) Facility charge 2) Professional Services Fee  3)Diagnostic studies charge

Do you accept my insurance?

We are "in network" with many insurance companies and are always working to add more. If you have a question about your insurance just call or email us.

Do you accept credit cards?

We accept all major Credit and Debit cards.

What if I am sick at 2 AM, are you open?

We are open 24 hours a day to meet your emergency medical needs at any hour.

Can I call an ambulance to bring me to your facility?

You can and should call an ambulance if your condition warrants it, but they will not bring you to our facility since we are not registered as a hospital. If you don't need an ambulance simply call us and we can arrange for a car service to pick you up.

What happens if I need to be admitted?

We have partnered with top area hospitals. We will admit you directly to their facility and we will arrange for your care.

What happens if I need a specialist?

If you need a specialist immediately, we have a panel of physicians on call that will tend to your urgent medical needs. If your condition does not require immediate attention, we will speak with your personal physician to ensure approval of any specialists. We will then make hassle free arrangements with one of our associated hospitals to see you the very next day.

Who reads my Cat Scan, X-Ray and Ultrasound?

We have partnered with Millennium Medical Imaging radiology group due to their unsurpassed committment to quality. They read all of our studies on site, 24 hours a day. You will have an official reading before you leave our facility which will also be forwarded to your private physician.

What about radiation risk?

Our Toshiba 64 slice CT scanner is state-of-the-art in technology. It delivers the lowest dose of radiation, automatically, without compromising the quality of the images.

Do your doctors have any experience in Emergency Medicine?

All of our providers have more than 35,000+ hours of ER work experience. They have worked in different emergency room settings, with varying patient volumes of up to 60,000 patients per year!
